Sam Morreale

I had sent out an email a week ago about this kid Sam who has an auto immune disease that is causing liver issues. He was moved down to Westchester to get a liver biopsy and the family is waiting for the results. Please pray for complete healing and also for peace for his family. Thanks

We got the results of the liver biopsy today, and from what I understand, Samuels' liver cells is spontaneously dying and they don't know why as of yet, the cell death is also causing fibrosis. So we are possibility looking at some sort of rare metabolic thing. The diagnosis so far is acute hepatitis with an unknown ideology. Which pretty much means that is liver is swollen and they can't figure out why. They are bringing in a liver specialist as well as a metabolic specialist.

Just an update on Sam. He is back home and his Enzyme counts have fallen to a safer level. They're still not entirely sure what the problem is, so please keep praying for him.
